Upcoming Workshops
Our workshops offer opportunities to work on fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and communication skills, and provide mood-boosting benefits from creating something beautiful or nurturing plant-life. The mindfullness aspects of these projects can help with concentration and emotional regulation.
Sunrise Village creates nurturing and empowering opportunities for people with disabilities through farm and community-based programs. Although COVID-19 has made life even more challenging, participants can still benefit from our workshop program from the safety of their home.
FREE kits are limited to the first 20 people to register. One kit per household. Additional kits are available for purchase.
Kits can be picked-up curbside in Bettendorf. Delivery is available to the metro Quad Cities on an as-needed basis only. Please contact us at contact@sunrisevillageiowa.org to request a delivery.
All registrants will receive a link to recorded video instructions, a list of supplies (in case you would like to purchase your own supplies), and text instructions.
